SNOMED Expo

Dear Stephan,
We are pleased to inform you that your submission has been accepted as an in person oral presentation (concurrent session) in the SNOMED CT Expo 2022 program.
We recommend you save this email for easy reference to ensure smooth preparation for this event. If you have questions please use events@snomed.org

1. By  Friday June 3, 2022, complete the SNOMED CT Expo Presentation Acceptance Form confirming that you accept the opportunity to deliver an oral presentation in person at this year’s Expo, along with all associated conditions.

2. By Friday July 15, 2022, complete your conference registration online (you will receive separate instructions for how to register once registration opens in mid-June).

3. By Wednesday, September 14, 2022, submit the final copy of your presentation. You will receive instructions on how to do this in the coming months. Presentation templates will be available once the program is set in mid-June.
   
   
   Notes to Presenters:

• We recognize that your personal circumstances may change and you may need to change your presentation from an in person to an online delivery. If you are no longer able to present in person please contact event organizers ASAP so that we may make the necessary arrangements.

• This year's Expo will be a hybrid event with delegates registered for in person and online attendance. 

• The program will be published by June 15, 2022 when we will also open registration. 

• Unless otherwise indicated, presentation slots will be a MAXIMUM of 28 minutes in duration. Your presentation should be no more than 20 minutes in order to allow time for questions. This will be strictly enforced to ensure overruns do not occur.

• Each accepted presentation will receive one complimentary Expo registration. If you plan to have multiple presenters at your session please contact event organizers.

• SNOMED International is unable to fund any costs associated with presenting (e.g., preparation of materials, travel etc.).

• If the instructions above are not completed by the stated times, the Program Committee may reconsider your selection. 
  
  
  Travel and Accommodation

• SNOMED International has negotiated a 10% discount with TAP, Portugal's national airline and a Star Alliance member. 

• If you are planning on staying at the Pestana Palace Hotel (where the Expo is taking place) it is strongly recommended you book early to avoid disappointment. Rooms at the hotel are limited and the room block is available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

• If you require an invitation letter from SNOMED International in order to obtain a visa please note that the deadline to request one is  * 23 August, 2022.*

• Frage nach Unterzeichnung der Verträge durch private Personen oder Organisation → Bearbeitung durch Justiziariat NRC DE
