Welcome/Roll Call

  • Reminder that calls are recorded

C. Papoutsakis

Members were welcomed to the call. T. Papoutsakis reported on a newer collaborative group formed by SNOMED for enhanced clinical engagement in which she participates. She will provide updates from the group as the situation warrants.

2

Agenda review and approval of minutes

2.1 November 2020 minutes

C. Papoutsakis

The agenda was approved by consensus. A question about the Assessment Tools portion of the minutes was raised. D. Pertel has revised the minutes to clarify the report. Please send suggestions or questions as needed.

3

Diets (regime/therapy)

3.1 Diet modeling update and prophylaxis diets

D. Pertel

Discuss the use and utility of regime/therapy diets labeled for prophylaxis.

An update on the work completed so far on the diets project was provided. Seventeen concepts will be remodeled for the January 31, 2021 release, ~140 concepts require remodeling, and ~25 require addition to SNOMED CT based on the 2020 NCPT Edition.

The group consensus supports inactivation of the diet prophylaxis concepts. A clear use case could not be identified. With the historical tracking mechanisms in SNOMED CT, these concepts will be associated with their respective diet concepts.

4

Pilot model reviews

4.1 Pilot intervention models

4.2 Pilot test tracking

D. Pertel

Review and discuss modeling of interventions from pilot and determine next steps.

Four of the pilot intervention models were reviewed. A motion to remodel these concepts, as well as all additional concepts in the Counseling about nutrition subhierarchy, as presented was approved. These changes are consistent with Option 2.

5

Adjournment

D. Pertel

The next call is January 18, 2021 at 14:00 Central US time. Have a happy and safe holiday season!
