Clinical Networks

SNOMED International considers the engagement of clinical communities and clinicians globally as being central to the continued success of delivering and maintaining SNOMED CT. Clinical input is critical to ensuring that SNOMED CT remains up to date and relevant to clinical practice internationally, regionally, nationally and locally. To support these endeavours, SNOMED International is actively developing a clinical network capability across the globe. These endeavours aim to delivering the following:

• Provide a point of clinical contact for any healthcare clinician globally

• Develop communities of practice with links minded healthcare professionals

• Inform all clinicians of SNOMED CT advances

• To support the work of SNOMED International clinical reference groups (CRGs)
