Discussion of Project Timeline

J.Millar

Jane: SNOMED and AND are forming an agreement to deal with copyright issues and commit to maintaining the content. Determining the duration of the project needs to be determined. AND suggests about 3 years. Jane believes things may change to make things happen more quickly. Second important aspect is that when content is submitted, plenty of time is being left for the content to be processed.

Tina: how long before cutoff should we discontinue submissions.

Lee and Penni will work on assuring timelines are established and met.

4

CRS Submission Review

L.Unangst

Review of progress with term submission.

Tina: Nathan asked whether in this work we will be adding new terms. The scope of work is to work with the existing content of published editions of NCPT. We are not developing new NCPT terms.

Laboratory Observables in SNOMED

L.Unangst

SNOMED Laboratory Values haven't been explored yet.

Luise - translated almost everything from NCPT. Hard work because even among hospitals there are vast differences in denmark.

Donna and Tina: Pull terms from the pilot for discussion from the pilot.

Tina asks if discussion can be facilitated on Confluence by providing the materials early.

A full list of 2019 lab terms will be provided with the pilot list to enable group members to assess what terms should be included.
