Nutrition Reference Set 

3.1 Reference set views in browsers

@Donna Pertel  shared how the SNOMED International Browser can be used to look at reference sets and see the codes and human readable descriptions for the members in a reference set. The views in various country extensions also show this content and some countries have translated concepts in that country language.

@Elaine Wooler  will investigate if there is a reason for the order for the concepts in a reference set.

January 2023 Release

Instructions for verifying the release of nutrition content in SNOMED CT for January 2023 were provided. The members of the project group asked to review approximately 10-12 concepts to verify that they are in the release are: Sissi Stove Lorentzen, Amy Curtis Brown, Ahlam Badreldin El Shikieri, Paula Diaque Ballesteros, and Sandra Jent. These people are asked to copy the Concept ID and the FSN (fully specified name) for each assigned term into the shared document here (https://eatright-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/r/personal/dpertel_eatright_org/Documents/04.2%20SNOMED%20Jan%202023%20Release%20Tracking%20Verification%20(1).xlsx?d=wdc9d7422e91248c0bb6411b91beef0b6&csf=1&web=1&e=rac8fn) between now and February 27, 2023.

Nutrition Clinical Reference Group

05.1 Topics referred to CRG

Several topics have been identified as projects for a future SNOMED CT Nutrition Care Process Terminology Reference Group. These include: Review subhierarchy - 373783004|Dietary product (product), Remodel observables and procedures with products where appropriate, Review subhierarchy - 384760004 |Feeding and dietary regime (regime/therapy)| hierarchy, Review Central obesity (disorder), and Review subhierarchy - 238107002 |Deficiency of macronutrients (disorder)|.

Once the group is formed, these projects will be transferred to the SNOMED CT Nutrition Care Process Terminology Reference Group.
