Discussion items
Item | Description | Owner | Notes | Action |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Business Meeeting in Seoul | @Ole Kristian Våge | Some representatives will be present in the TUG meeting in Seoul. The agenda will be based on relevant topics, for example challenges in translating regime/therapy concepts related to nursing. | |
2 | @Ole Kristian Våge | @Ole Kristian Våge will submit a CRS asking for a revision of the subhierarchies. | ||
3 | @Louise Bie | @Anne Randorff Højen has asked for input from Snomed Int. staff / CMAG We will return to this issue in next Translation User Group meeting | ||
4 | Requesting and writing defintions | @Ole Kristian Våge | On several occasions a solution of a translation issue is to clarify the meaning of a concept by providing a verbal definition. Sometimes a definition is lacking. Sometimes the current definitions don´t clarify the difference between two concepts, such as 'intoxication' and 'poisoning'. Should there be guidelines of making good definitions (in the Editorial Guide?) based on ISO 704? We could revisit Jira #112 to discuss this issue. | Should there be a reference to the principles of writing definitions from the ISO 704 in the Reference Guide (Definition)@Ole Kristian Våge will reach out to @Monica Harry |
