  • Recommendations should not mandate changes for a defined subset of current implementations (NEED FINE-GRAINED DESCRIPTION OF KINDS OF "SAFE" IMPLEMENTATIONS...)

    • Implementations only using concepts, descriptions, and IsA relationships do not need changes

    • Implementations using ECL to query SNOMED CT content

  • Recommendations should be based on documented benefits for modeling of SNOMED CT content
