Overarching Goals for NCPT CPG

• Quality assurance of promoted NCPT related terms from US extension (# of concepts)

• Review and confirm remaining NCPT content for addition to the SNOMED CT International release (Gap Analysis)

• Prepare and model 100 concepts for initial pilot for addition to the SNOMED CT International Release

• Review the outcomes of the initial pilot to inform next steps

• Prepare and model the remaining content for addition to the SNOMED CT International Release

Meeting Minutes:

1. Review of overarching goals

   1. Viewable at top of NCPT CPG space and on the agenda for this meeting

   2. C. Papoutsakis met with J. Case, J. Millar and L. Unangst to resume process.

   3. Current goal is to submit remainder of terms to SCT

      1. Gap Analysis conducted to identify remaining terms to be modeled

      2. Next set will be 100 terms as a pilot

   4. L. Unangst suggests doing terms from each step of the NCPT (Assessment, Intervention, Diagnosis) to begin to identify issues that may arise with modeling terms from the different steps.

   5. L. Unangst to be trained on SCT authoring tool

2. Review of gap analysis document

   1. Thoughts from the group

      1. J. Case expresses no preference for which terms are submitted

         1. Common underlying model makes the work go faster

         2. Switching domains slows down the work

   2. L. Unangst suggests that working terms in other parts of NCPT will be good to develop an understanding of the challenges that are presented by other domains of NC

   3. Agreed to proceed forward working multiple types of terminology

3. Workplan

   1. How do we proceed with development of a workplan?

      1. J. Case:                                                            

         1. Current workplan should be presented as a proposal to IHTSDO.

         2. Content management lead (Leslie) will review and determine how quickly the work can be completED

         3. L. Unangst will responsible for the bulk of the work.

         4. J. Millar and Leslie should be the recipients of the workplan

Dissemination of information on promoted content/changes to content in SNOMED CT

• What can the stakeholders do?

Meeting Minutes:

1. Dissemination of promoted content - US content promoted, but how do stakeholders find out?

   1. Several stakeholders would like to inform their networks of the inclusion

   2. J. Case:

      1. Release notes with the SNOMED Package

      2. Promotion of content from US extension should be noted ther

   3. C. Papoutsakis: Can we use the verbiage to communicate with stakeholders?

      1. J.Case: Information is not proprietary, and so should be OK, referencing release notes as the source.

Terminology Work Going Forward:

2. Delayed due to error made in submission process
