Summary

The Service provides hosting, management and technical support of the Managed Service Authoring Platform (including the terminology server).

Description

This service enables Managed Service Members to effectively manage and extend SNOMED CT within their national context. It provides comprehensive capabilities for authoring, translating, and reviewing SNOMED CT content, including the addition, amendment, and retirement of concepts, descriptions, and relationships. The service facilitates collaborative teamwork, supports the classification process for generating inferred views, and manages the upgrade to new International Editions, including conflict resolution and content reconsolidation. It also ensures the release of extensions and editions in RF2 format with robust multi-lingual and multi-context support, including the generation of relevant language reference sets, and offers the ability to batch import descriptions for efficient data management.
