The Service provides a dedicated administrative portal and resources for managing all aspects of SNOMED CT affiliate licensing, International Release distribution, and mandatory usage reporting for the Member and its authorized affiliates.

Description

The Service Provider offers access to the Member Licensing and Distribution Service (MLDS), which serves as the central platform for organizations and individuals to gain and manage access to the International Release of SNOMED CT and Member country extension releases.

• Licensing Management: Processing applications for and maintaining Affiliate Licenses required for the legal use of SNOMED CT in non-Member countries or when operating as a sub-licensee.

• Release Distribution: Serving as the secure digital download center where authorized users can access SNOMED CT data, including the International Release, national translations, and specialized map sets (e.g., Global Patient Set - GPS).

• Usage Reporting: Providing the platform and administrative support necessary for License holders to submit mandatory annual declarations of usage for compliance purposes.
