Summary

The Service provides hosting, management and technical support of a Reference Set Management Tool.

Description

This service provides the ability to create and manage simple type reference sets within the Managed Service Member's national extension.

 This service integrates with the Managed Service Authoring Platform Service to allow reference set content to be promoted directly into the extension during release time.

Notes

The creation and maintenance of simple reference sets, with an audit trail, covering extensional, intensional, combination, and local reference set types.

A maximum of one hundred and fifty (150) published simple type reference sets are included within scope. Additional refsets are available as an additional service with the applicable fee attached.

Capability to copy other published reference sets within the tool for modification for local extension use cases

 

Version management of all reference sets including in development and published versions

 

Reference Set content review workflow

Custom workflows are not supported

Built-in communication and collaboration functionality at Reference Set and individual Reference Set member level

 

Ability to upgrade to a new International Edition of SNOMED CT, and support for the management of any potential inactive members including management of any possible replacements whilst ‘upgrading’

 

Import of existing reference sets as content using RF2, CSV or list of SCTID’s

 

Distribution of published reference set Products (including RF2 and human-readable versions) via a publicly available Reference Set Library

 

Ability to add links to externally hosted reference sets within the Reference set Library

 

Ability to manage reference sets within multiple projects based within a single organisational structure

 

Role based access control to the maintenance of reference sets (Admin / Author / Reviewer / Read Only).

The access can be controlled at organisational and project level.
