This turned out to be related to a fix made (in INFRA-16880) during the authoring cycle for an incorrect module on a description inactivation indicator record:

Looks like a module jumper to the PCR report, but is correctly moving the description inactivation indicator back from the Component Model Module to the Core module.
keep an eye on this going forward to ensure no recurrences, as no root cause logged on the ticket…
though Maria believes this to be a very small risk, as she thinks these are historical issues that have lain dormant, and only just flagged up now due to improvements in the AP reporting.
