• Looking at how to process content request changes

• Also process for getting specialty society approvals (need this for cases where there's not unanimous approval in CRG)

• Process:

  • Request should be placed in Confluence

  • Spreadsheet with columns shared with requestor

  • Elaine will check for existing representation - synonyms, country-specific variations

  • Ian G can set up permissions/access for spreadsheet

Proposal for reference set/preferred terms of SNOMED codes for glaucoma medications 

Ian R will share slides/spreadsheet for review by the group

Retina-related DR code requests

Sally

Retina subgroup of the OHDSI/OMOP workgroup has requests to update some SNOMED codes related to DR 

Sally will add requested DR concepts to new template of content requests

Glaucoma procedures

How to deal with brand name devices in glaucoma procedures? 

Generally make generic representation; Can create extension with brand names at the country level 

May be able to do international extension for ophthalmology devices - will need to be discussed with SNOMED content team
