Eye Care Clinical Reference Group

Welcome to the Eye Care CRG. This group welcomes individuals or groups interested in eye care content in SNOMED CT and its implementation in systems worldwide.

The CRG covers medical and surgical eye care, including the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of eye and visual system diseases. Subspecialty areas include:

Cornea and anterior segment
Medical retina
Uveitis
Glaucoma
Ocular oncology
Adnexal
Paediatric ophthalmology/strabismus
Surgical retina (vitreo-retinal)
Primary Care
Medical and neuro-ophthalmology

The first specialty area for review is Glaucoma, with input from specialists in this area.
