• There are patterns for Activity observables (e.g. ability to dress), still remains to elaborate on Function observables (e.g. memory function).

New observables attributes

• Four new attributes are planned for addition in the January 2017 release

• Questions before finalizing the attributes

• See attached presentation

• Relative to..

  • Documentation is important, more so than naming?

  • Alternatives:

    • Keep as is originally proposed

    • Rename into something better (e.g. Relative to Inheres in, Relative to Component)

  • In order to make decision, a set of LOINC terms will be mapped and the alternatives may be seen clearer

• Has realization (attribute)

  • Add as new attribute.

• The new "component-like" attribute

  • Create a new attribut "Observable component", see Constituent Blog post

  • If possible, existing "Component" attribute could be renamed "Procedure component".
