Jim Case, This comment is to further the conversation from our December meeting. It appeared that we were in agreement that the substance/medicinal product issue of classification by "role" is unacceptable (for many reasons) and should be removed. While I did not comment at the time, I agree with 
michael lawley that grouping by role can be addressed via Refset for those members needing to support prior aggregation. The existing concepts noted above need to be remodeled anyway since "analgesic" is not really capturing the meaning, especially for concepts like "analgesic nephropathy" where the attribute-value pair "Causative agent - Analgesic" does not add clarity. Let's move forward. Thanks!
