Run a release regression test

Use the Release Automation Dashboard UI and Release Regression Test UI to run a release regression test.
This guide will walk you through the process of running a release regression test in the SNOMED International Release Automation Platform (RAP). The video walk-through and screenshots here show the RAP acceptance test deployment environment which mirrors the RAP production platform (some presentation screen styles may differ, but functionally they are the same).

Press the Open Release Regression Test icon on the right of the Release Centers navigation panel header bar. This will open the Regression Test Reports view in a new browser tab or window (according to your personal web browser preferences). | |
Press the "ADD TESTS" button on the right of the Regression Test Reports header bar. This will present the Add Tests overlay form. | |
In the Add Test overlay form, press the Release Center "Please Select" prompt to show a dropdown menu of available options. | |
Select the desired Release Center by pressing the appropriate option from the dropdown selection list. | |
Press the Product "Please Select" prompt to show a dropdown menu of available options. | |
Select the desired Product by pressing the appropriate option from the dropdown selection list. | |
Press the Build "Please Select" prompt to show a dropdown menu of available options. | |
Select the desired Build by pressing the appropriate option from the dropdown selection list. | |
Press the View "Please Select" prompt to show a dropdown menu of available options. Press the desired View option (Published). | |
Press "ADD TESTS" in the bottom right of the Add Test overlay form. | |
Follow the same steps as above for each additional test, then press Add Tests. At any stage during definition of tests within the Add Tests overlay form, you can press "CANCEL" to close the form without invoking any tests on the platform. This will close the Add Tests overlay. | |
When all tests are defined, press "RUN" in the lower right corner of the Add Tests overlay form. This invokes the defined test(s) on the Release Automation Platform, and closes the Add Tests overlay form. | |
Press REFRESH to the left of the ADD TESTS button in the Regression Test Reports view header bar. The view listing will update its Status column to show the current status of all tests listed. Running test statuses are shown in blue text, completed tests are shown in green text for Passed, or red text for Failed. Particular test stages can take some minutes to complete, so it may take many minutes for the test run to complete, depending on the combination of Product Center, Product, Build and View, but particularly on the number of concepts and concept changes in the release. |
