What the fields in the Content Tracker mean

Status field

This field identifies which stage of the content development process the issue is currently at.

New

Issues with this status are newly created projects awaiting review to confirm they meet the project criteria (under development) and determination of the priority to be assigned.

Accepted

Issues with this status have undergone review to determine they meet the criteria for projects but no work has been commenced.

Combined

Issues with this status are being worked on with the work covering both the inception and elaboration phases.

Closed

Issues with this status have be closed, with no further work planned.

Closed-verify

This status has been brought over from the Collabnet Tracker and will be removed when the items with this status have been reviewed and moved to the closed status.

Fast track

Issues with this status are very small less complex issues that are being worked on using the fast track template.

In inception

Issues with this status are being worked on in the inception phase of development.

In elaboration

Issues with this status are being worked on in the elaboration phase of development.

In construction

Issues with this status are being worked on in the construction phase of development.

In transition

Issues with this status are being worked on in the transition phase of development.

 

Resolution field

This field identifies if and how an issue was resolved.

Unresolved

This value is used where an issue has not been resolved but work will be undertaken. This value used for open issues only. Example not provided- please see an open issue on the Content Tracker.

Resolved

This issue has been resolved. This value is only used for closed issues.

Transferred

This value is used to identify an issue that overlapping in scope with another issue or has work that could be managed in combination with a second issue. Example: IHTSDO-136. It may also be used if the work will be completed as part of one of the major projects e.g. IHTSDO-888

Duplicate

This value is used to identify that the issue is a duplicate. It is only used for closed issues.

Won't do

This value is used to identify issues where a decision has been made not to resolve the issue. This may be due to a number of reasons including an issue being outdated or out of scope for SNOMED CT as well as decisions affecting content means the issue is no longer valid.

Issues closed in Collabnet that were brought over for historical purposes has the resolution value "Project closed". This should not be used going forward. While there are other values available for this field in the drop down menu, they should not be used. 

Priority field

This field identifies the priority of an issue.

This field identifies the size of an issue. The size is determined by 'to be advised'.

This value was created to support clean up of the Content Tracker. It will be phased out of use.

This value was created to support clean up of the Content Tracker. It will be phased out of use.

Components

The Components utility in JIRA has been utilised to help group outstanding issues that focus on similar/ common topic areas. The number and type of components is expected to vary over time depending on what issues are currently unresolved. 

Please note: All issues have been assigned to one or more components.
