This set of topics relates to the use of SNOMED CT to represent the values, meaning and/or maps to FHIR healthcare resources. See http://build.fhir.org/resourcelist.html for a list of the relevant resources.

Proposed collaborative work topics:

  1. Principles and guidance for profiling/binding with SNOMED CT

  2. Review existing base resource bindings to SNOMED CT

  3. Sharing/collaboration on profiles, value set definitions, bindings and concept maps

  4. Create SNOMED CT resource profiles that bind elements to SNOMED CT wherever that isn't already in the base resources - note this may require more than one profile per resource with different bindings/constraints for different modelling style
