PURPOSE

The group has been formed to review the current content in the SNOMED CT International release related to the diagnosis of epilepsy.

SCOPE

The group will review the current diagnosis concepts and advise on their current applicability, and whether additional concepts should be included. The group will also review the associated descriptions and advise on their applicability and whether additional descriptions could be added to improve the clinical usability of SNOMED CT. The group will also review the current modelling of epilepsy concepts and advise on whether these are clinically correct, and whether additional modelling could be included.
