Hello! Can I have the group's take on the meaning of the concept, 414641005 |Maintenance of spontaneous respiration (procedure)|? Would this be appropriate as a subtype of a more general concept of |Anesthesia and/or sedation procedure (procedure)|, or is this rather supportive care? Else could it be a duplicate to 243141005 |Mechanically assisted spontaneous ventilation (regime/therapy)|, or its potential subtype?

Hi Krista, thanks for the question.
My impression is that 414641005 is a way to record the observation/finding that a patient maintained spontaneous respiration throughout a procedure and had neither apnoeic episodes nor any intervention to assist ventilation.
If there was an intervention, it could be recorded separately, even it was just a simple jaw lift to improve airway patency.
243141005 is an intervention (regime/therapy) and implies some kind of assist.
