Support for British English en-gb

We had a question here relating to a concept that was added to the NPU module, as it was required to complete NPU Element to SNOMED Attribute Map:

There was an additional Description of N-(1-deoxy fructose-1-yl) haemoglobin beta chain created as well, and this would normally be marked as unacceptable in US English.

Does NPU state any official position on its use of US versus GB spelling variants?
