Nutrition and Dietetics Clinical Reference Group

Welcome to the Nutrition and Dietetics CRG. This group welcomes any individuals or groups that are interested in the nutrition and dietetics content in SNOMED CT and its implementation in systems across the globe. This CRG follows the closure of the Nutrition Care Process Terminology Project Group, which completed its work aligning the content of Nutrition Care Process Terminology (NCPT) to SNOMED CT, facilitating the access to NCPT in SNOMED enabled systems

The group is responsible for the development of a SNOMED CT reference set, which will support the NCPT related content availability to all SCT users globally, with a supporting clinical implementation guide. Alongside this, the group will be starting to program to review existing content in SNOMED CT related to nutrition and dietetics. Currently the group is working on the hierarchy of central obesity.
