The Dentistry Clinical Reference Group (CRG) serves as the main source of clinical insight and recommendations for dentistry within SNOMED CT.

Our members include payers, dental associations, general dentists, academics, and specialty organizations worldwide. We welcome participation from all corners of dentistry—ideas, expertise, and input from across the dental community are highly valued. Greater involvement from countries not yet engaged will help broaden international impact.

Current work focuses on:

• Developing key reference sets to support interoperability and visualization.

• Reviewing and refining dental terms for accuracy, structure, and alignment within SNOMED CT.
